Centro Lusitano has the goal to maintain an equestrian heritage that starts from the daily maintenance of the horses all the way up to classical dressage. Dealing with horses starts with the daily yard work. It is our goal to transfer our experience to others. Sometimes we learn more of the horses than they do of us... The art of classical dressage is appreciated more in some countries than others. We cherish the intrinsic value of the horse and try to optimise its living and working environment. Whether the Lusitano horse is used for riding or for breeding, all of them are of equal importance. In the previous location we were qualified as a teaching/internship company and we gained the same qualification at this location. Books, videos and other sources are available to help students to get acquainted with these values. We strive to transfer a cultural heritage which in the current hectic technological society should not be lost.
